Click the table of contents on the side to explore each release&#8217;s details.<\/span><\/p>\n<a name=\"ship-to-pickup-location\" class=\"fldn-table-of-contents-anchor\"><\/a><h2 id=\"ship-to-pickup-location\"><b>Ship to Pickup Location<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For buyers, there is a new option in the \u2018Shipments\u2019 section of the work order called \u2018Shipping to other location.\u2019\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20434\" src=\"https:\/\/fieldnation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"527\" height=\"228\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When selected, buyers will see the \u2018Tracking number\u2019 and \u2018Description\u2019 fields that are consistent with the other shipments options, and they\u2019ll also see a new \u2018Pickup location\u2019 section with the ability to input a location name and address.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When \u2018Shipping to other location\u2019 is selected and an address is provided, providers in the mobile app and on the web will see a \u2018Pre-site pickup required\u2019 chip along with the pickup city, zip code, and the location\u2019s distance from site. Select Networks are available to all buyers in several places across the platform.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Buyers can discover and use Select Networks when vetting technicians for a work order in the new Provider Match view and from within Provider Profiles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Using the new Provider Match view, you can quickly apply a \u2018Select Networks\u2019 filter and select \u2018AV and Digital Signage\u2019 to view only technicians who belong to this highly skilled group.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20444\" src=\"https:\/\/fieldnation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"783\" height=\"177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/fieldnation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image3.png 1008w, https:\/\/fieldnation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image3-768x174.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 783px) 100vw, 783px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Premier and Enterprise users can also view a map of providers in this network on MarketSmart Insights\u2122 by clicking on the \u2018AV and Digital Signage\u2019 group on MSI&#8217;s homepage. For example, the section of the pay card formally titled \u201cService Fees\u201d is now \u201cService Charges\u201d, and \u201cTotal Subscription Fee\u201d is now \u201cTotal Subscription Charge\u201d. Nothing about how either charge is calculated or billed has changed.<\/span><\/p>\n<a name=\"more-accurate-provider-removal-reasons\" class=\"fldn-table-of-contents-anchor\"><\/a><h2 id=\"more-accurate-provider-removal-reasons\"><b>More Accurate Provider Removal Reasons<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To better support buyers in choosing the most accurate removal reason, we\u2019ve made changes to the assignment removal and work order cancellation workflow to give buyers visibility into which reasons negatively impact the provider\u2019s Cancellation Rate. Moving forward, if a buyer selects a cancellation or unassign reason that negatively impacts the provider\u2019s Cancellation Rate, they\u2019ll see this alert on the page before confirming the action.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20442\" src=\"https:\/\/fieldnation.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/image7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"370\" height=\"379\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Additionally, we\u2019ve made some tweaks to the work order cancellation form to ensure buyers see the most relevant cancellation reasons based on their reasons for canceling the work order.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.fieldnation.com\/s\/article\/Canceling-a-Work-Order\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to learn more about canceling a work order.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Click <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/support.fieldnation.com\/s\/article\/Removing-a-Provider-from-a-Work-Order-New-Provider-Match\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to learn more about removing a provider from a work order.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<a name=\"californias-freelance-worker-protection-act-fwpa\" class=\"fldn-table-of-contents-anchor\"><\/a><h2 id=\"californias-freelance-worker-protection-act-fwpa\"><b>California\u2019s Freelance Worker Protection Act (FWPA)<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beginning in 2025, any business that engages with \u201cfreelance workers\u201d\u2014which broadly encompasses independent contractors subject to limited exceptions\u2014must provide workers with written contracts that meet specific requirements and timely compensation. While your business is ultimately responsible for maintaining compliance with the FWPA and other employment laws, you can feel confident that Field Nation is providing you with tools to come into compliance with minimal impact on your business operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Going forward, a buyer\u2019s company name and address will be automatically included in every work order in the State of California. All other contract requirements are already listed in work orders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Note: We strongly encourage buyers to ensure that all work orders are paid in full no later than 30 days after work is marked complete to avoid potential penalties for untimely payment.
